Fundraising

Fundraising is a crucial part to the success of the SCSU Rowing Team. Currently the team is fundraising through Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America. Along with the MOA, the team fundraises through cleaning up the Husky Football Stadium and various other fundraisers. The team also relies on the generous donations from family and friends.

The 48 Hour Erg-a-thon

Each spring the Saint Cloud State University Rowing team holds the annual 48 Hour Erg-a-thon. Held on the porch of the Atwood Memorial Center, team members will erg in half hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning to 7:00 a.m. Friday morning. For every dollar donated by people passing by, the rower will do a "power ten" which is ten all out strokes. While this is a great way for the team to publicize itself to the campus community, it also serves as a fundraiser.
